The other agent spent ten minutes with me, most of which was on the phone. Their advice to me was to paint all the woodwork white and that they would get back to me about a firm appraisal the following week. They did get back me about six months later, to ask if I was still interested in buying a house! You on the other hand spent a good half hour discussing various sales strategies and although you were acutely aware of my family situation, you still advised me to wait because the market was still sluggish.
